About
Williamsburg BK fashion designer Matt Landon, has been printing and sewing his own garments for over 15 years starting with his first line ‘3D Innovations’. From 1994 to 1998 he launched Hanger 18, a skate based retailer to distribute his own products and others in the Boston area. After exhibiting at ASR and adding a pro team with such riders as Jamal Williams, Robbie Gangemi, Steve Nardone, Mike Graham. With these riders and the entire 3D team Landon released the legendary skate video “Messin’ Around” and captured Boston skateboarding as no one else had done.
Matt decided to move away from skateboarding and try his hand in designer fashion. He now runs Brains-on-Fire, designing and manufacturing most garments out of his 3,000 sqft Brooklyn design studio. Landon’s newest designs have appeared in fashion publications such as INSTYLE, BLUE PRINT, WWD, SWINDLE and NME magazine .
